Practices for Blog

Blogging can be a very useful tool for any business. It can help share views and express opinions, which will ultimately help connect with others. However it will not help if there isn’t proper use or the use of good practices of blogging. There are good practices that will help lead to an increase in the quality of blog and connection with the readers. There are four practices that I believe will lead to more successful blog.

1.now the right time concept clock Timing- In order for a blog to seem relevant to the readers the material posted must be in a timely fashion. Material that is timed properly include material that is material pertinent and fresh in people’s minds. Material cannot be something that is not in people’s mind and forgotten about. With timely material people will be more interested in what is being posted and will come to read the blog. If material is waited on it no longer becomes fresh or important and therefore people will not find it interesting and will pass over the blog. Using proper timing shows to the readers that the writer is engaged in what they are writing about.

2. Engaged- No not popping the question to someone special! To be engaged with your blog and its readers, the author should be aware of what is being said about their blog and on their blog. Being aware of feedback is a big key. By reading the feedback you are aware of a multitude of things that you may need to be aware of. A reader could leave a comment that could shape your view or opinion. Or you could be made aware of changes that can be made to your blog to improve quality of the reader’s experience.

3.ControversyOrBust Controversy- Be controversial. Being controversial leads to people reading your blog, because people want to see what you are going to say next. Being controversial just doesn’t mean saying offensive things, but rather things that invoke a response. Be flashy don’t be afraid to say the things others won’t.

4. Promote- Make sure your blog is promoted to the highest extent. By promoting your blog it draws more people in and people will discover your blog. By promoting it, it will make other blogs aware and another one may share content off of your blog.

These practices are good for a blog as it will help draw readers in and give them a good experience reading your blog. It also allows for people to become a part of your blog and makes them want to keep coming back. In the sports industry these practices are used all of the time. All of the content is timed properly because it is about mostly about news and in an industry where timing is everything news wise and people will want to learn it first from your blog. The practices should be used for a chance to have a successful blog.

  1. These are all very good points about blogging. What about having a plan, policy or procedure for the blog? Having a solid foundation may make the difference between a good blog and a great one with a proactive approach.
